eCert is located in our Portal:  https://portal.ride.ri.gov/.  If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one.  If you can't remember your username or password, please click here:  https://portal.ride.ri.gov/Core/Default/PasswordRecovery.


  • Apply
    • If you do not already have a certificateID, the My eCert wizard will help you create one.  Follow the screen prompts and then click Apply / Register on the left.
  • Check application status
    • Click on Apply / Register on the left to see the information you are looking for.
  • Check expiration date
    • Click on Certifications on the left to see when your certification(s) expire.
  • Renew
    •  Click on Apply / Register on the left and then click Begin New Application.


Our office is moving towards a paperless system, and we urge educators to use the electronic system whenever possible. 

 

In the event you need to send a paper application, it must be mailed to, or dropped off at the RIDE drop box in the main lobby.
